ABOUT THE AUTHOR

J. Lloyd Morgan is an award-winning author and Associate Professor of English and Creative Writing. He graduated from Brigham Young University with a degree in Communications and a minor in English. Morgan earned a Master of Fine Arts degree in Creative Writing from National University. He has lived all over the United States but now resides in North Carolina with his wife, where they raised four daughters. Morgan is an avid reader, a huge fan of baseball, and enjoys listening to music.

Aside from Going Down the Far Well, Morgan is the author of The Bariwon Chronicles (The Hidden Sun, The Waxing Moon, and The Zealous Star). Morgan’s other published novels include Wall of Faith, Bring Down the Rain, Darker the Shadow, National Bestseller, and The Mirror of the Soul (written in conjunction with musician Chris de Burgh.)
