New Release out now!

“When the news reported snow was coming to North Carolina, naturally, everyone overreacted.”

Media Showers tells an engaging tale of how society responds to a perceived risk, especially when it is given significant attention in the media, through the experiences of two individuals.

Kendra White writes a book about the upcoming energy crisis when the world uses more oil than it produces, also known as “peak oil.” It catches the media’s attention and goes viral.

In contrast, Steven Monroe works for a TV news station, one of many stations that hypes up the potential crisis, which helps the predictions in the book become a self-fulfilling prophecy.

What am I currently working on?

STRONGER THE BARRIER

Stronger the Barrier is the second book in the Howler King trilogy. I am currently writing it, though the demands on my time recently have slowed the progress more than I would like. The whole series was inspired by a short story I wrote called “Howler King.” Some might think that this series is the same as The Bariwon Chronicles. Point of fact, it is quite different in tone and approach.

Both The Bariwon Chronicles and the Howler King trilogy are placed in a medieval setting; they diverge when it comes to the use of magic. The Bariwon Chronicles contains no magical elements, whereas fantastical elements are a central theme of the Howler King trilogy.

In the first book, Darker the Shadow, the primary characters of Pendr and Wyjec are introduced. What they experience in the first book of the series sets up the final two books, both in the sense of character development as well as the overall arc of the series.

I’m excited to finish writing it because I, personally, cannot wait to see how the characters are going to get out of the messes I am creating for them.
